From first time freshman to full time staff

I came to Grace as a nearly 19 year old freshman in August of 1998. Although I had known about Grace for years and had family and friends who had attended, I had never once been to campus. What a step of faith! As I remember that first day, much of what I experienced is a blur – and not just because it’s been so long. So much happens when you first arrive as a new student that it’s very hard to absorb it all! But, I do remember that even though I was nervous, I felt at peace with my decision.

Bond + Chocolate = Hope Through Chaos

November 29, 2011
I enjoy choosing to write in the busiest moments that we can possibly face!  Currently everyone is in a flurry of activity attempting to finish the year strong. The end of the year brings a sort of hectic race. It comes down to the survival of the fittest. Those that need the least amount of sleep and relatively no form of normalcy may survive. Hot Weekend in Omaha

Today seems like the first day this year that has actually been pretty chilly. I don’t really know where the hot weather went, if things continue like this, I think Fall plumb forgot to come around this year. We’ll just wait and see what happens.

Gettin Ready

School is only a few weeks away for us now. At this point last year, I think I was doing as much as I could to stay busy and not think about moving to Omaha for the next 9 Months. This year is a similar story, I am continuing to work hard on the ranch, but school is approaching whether I like it or not.
