Festival of Christmas Supports Scholarships

Posted on 19 February 2013 by admin

The 2012 Festival of Christmas Scholarship Concert was enjoyed by more than 600 supporters of Grace University who helped raise funds for student scholarships. The evening began with a dinner in the Storz Fountain Court and was followed by the concert in the Witherspoon Concert Hall at the Joslyn Art Museum. Attendees enjoyed music from the Grace University Chorale, Concert Band, Women’s Choir, Chamber Singers and instrumental ensembles, along with our special guest, the Columbus High School Choir.

Funds raised from the concert support the Price Match Advantage which eliminates the financial factor when students are choosing the best fit for their college experience. Through the Price Match Advantage, Grace matches “net” out-of-pocket cost as shown on the financial aid award letter from any four-year, regionally accredited, public or private school.

Event sponsors who generously gave in support of student scholarships are:

  • David and Isabel Barnes
  • J.P. Cooke Company
  • Dr. and Mrs. Jim Eckman
  • Seline Family Foundation
  • United Republic Bank

Plan now to attend this great concert on Saturday, December 7, 2013.
